We do what we can

At Cosine we have always been dedicated to helping charities in our local community, nationally and we have a long relationship working with charities that fight conditions in Africa. This year we are proud to support three fantastic charities working to make life better for people across Buckinghamshire, the UK and eastern Africa.

Farm Africa

British Heart Foundation

Florence Nightingale Hospice

Farm Africa helps African farmers grow themselves out of poverty and end hunger forever. With Farm Africa’s help, rural families are building a more prosperous life that allows them to take charge of their futures. After the sad passing of Diane Astley, a Cosine Field Manager, from heart troubles in 2011 Cosine re-dedicated our yearly award for excellence in her name and also committed to support the British Heart Foundation every year. The Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity was selected from eight that were put forward by colleagues of Cosine SSC. The charity received a large proportion of the votes and so Cosine gave £1,100 as a corporate donation.

Jacqui Digging for Good in Africa

Dig For Good

Along with 13 other women from the UK food industry, our very own Jacqui Sheldon travelled to Africa to dig a fish farm the size of an Olympic swimming pool in just four days. To date Jacqui has raised an incredible £2,341 for Farm Africa.

Cosine's Safari Day for Farm Africa

Cosine Safari Day

To launch our support of Farm Africa in the office we put on a Safari Day! Aimed at fundraising and raising awareness of the charity to everyone at Cosine we had an enormous amount of fun and raised £586 for Farm Africa.
