Financial Controller

Experience and Background

Matthew is Financial Controller of Cosine UK and joined in September 2005. He heads up the finance team which provides commercial support to all departments and has additional responsibility for contracts, procurement, Sarbanes Oxley and health and safety.

Before taking control of the finances for Cosine, Matthew spent 5 years at British American Tobacco in a number of roles in both the UK operating company and latterly at the Global HQ in London. These roles included responsibility for transactional processing, provision of commercial support to the Brand and Trade Marketing departments and group management reporting.

Prior to this Matthew qualified as a chartered accountant in practice before moving to Inntrepreneur Pub Company in a tax and treasury role for 2 years and then on to Unipart where he was a Senior Group Accountant for a further 2 years.
