Experience and Background

Nick is Managing Director of Cosine UK, which was established in 2005.  Cosine is part of the Omnicom Group.

Nick was responsible for the creation of Cosine after spending 11 years at CPM, which included 7 years of being on the board. Nick has had board responsibility for HR, Recruitment, Operations, IT, Consultancy and Sales & Marketing functions driving cultural and organisational changes in the non-client facing functions and overseeing their best Sales growth for many years.

During that time Nick has managed a diverse portfolio of responsibilities, predominately with responsible for the Contract Sales Force division which accounted for 70% of turnover and management of over 2,000 sales staff. Clients Nick has personally worked very closely with include; Mars, Disney, Gillette, Arla Foods, GSK, Diageo, Kelloggs, Walkers, Coors, Kraft, BT, American Express and Barclays Bank.

Before agency life, Nick spent 11 years at Mars Confectionery initially within the finance division moving on to gain valuable experience within the Sales Division working his way through the ranks taking responsibility for several significant customer relationships. Latterly whilst at Mars, Nick was seconded into Richard Branson’s direct team and owned the retail section of the bid for the first licence to run the National Lottery.

Prior to this, Nick started his career working for Barclays Bank in their retail banking division.
